Their motto is, "Our family serving yours."Both Barry and Jana were born and raised in Henderson and Kaufman counties, and both graduated from Mabank High School."Both of our families are rooted deep in the Athens, Mabank, Eustace, Canton areas, and we are excited to be a part of those communities again," Barry Autry said.Barry is the son of Gloria and Bobby Gene Autry of Mabank, and Jana is the daughter of Janelle and Charles Seabourne of Eustace.Autry Funeral Home has locations in Jacksonville, Frankston and now in Athens."We want to be there for our friends, neighbors and loved ones, offer the most professional and dignified service possible, and serve with honesty, loyalty, and a genuine concern for others,” said Autry."With over 150 years combined experience in the funeral business, we are here to continue to serve Henderson, Van Zandt and surrounding counties as we have served in the past," Autry said. Joining and taking on a management role in Autry's Carroll-Lehr is Brady Autry, son of Barry and Jana Autry. He is married to Melanie Kate, a kindergarten teacher in Mabank, and they have one son, Bennett. They are members of First Baptist Church in Athens. He served as general manager of Royal Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park Perpetual Care Cemetery in Mesquite for three years before moving his family to Athens in 2014 to manage Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery, and is proud to again take a management role in both the funeral home and Perpetual Care Cemetery.He, along with the current Carroll-Lehr staff, look forward to continuing the quality service that was established by Lenar...
